Dr. Terri Daniel, CT, CCTP is a clinical chaplain, certified trauma professional and end-of-life educator certified in death, dying and bereavement by the Association of Death Education and Counseling. Her workshops help the dying and the bereaved find healing through meditative, ceremonial and therapeutic processes that focus on inner transformation rather than external events, and her work is acclaimed by physicians, hospice workers, grief counselors and clergy for its ability to help grieving individuals discover a more spiritually-spacious understanding of death and beyond.
Terri has a BA in Religious Studies from Marylhurst University, an MA in Pastoral Care from Fordham University, and a DMin in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the San Francisco Theological Seminary. She is the author of four books on death and the afterlife, and is also the founder of the annual Afterlife Awareness Conference.
If you are mourning the death of a loved one or a loss of any kind, or if you are a professional working with the bereaved, join us in a rare learning environment that provides unique healing tools not found in traditional counseling or support group settings.
The educational and therapeutic processes in this workshop include guided meditation, art & music therapy, interactive group work and sacred ceremony for moving the “stuck” energy of grief out of our bodies and into a more spacious, less constricted, more ventilated emotional landscape.
Brian Smith became acquainted with grief in 2015 after the sudden passing of his 15 year-old daughter Shayna. As part of learning to survive this tragic loss, Brian immersed himself in the study of death and grief, and now works with individuals and organizations helping parents heal from the trauma of child loss.
Brian also operates a life coaching and small business consulting practice, and is the author of Grief 2 Growth, Planted, Not Buried.
